The Graduate Student Association is hosting the 7th Annual Mikiten Research Forum on Thursday, June 11th, from 9:30 am to 5 pm in the Greehey Children’s Cancer Research Institute (GCCRI) atrium. Our distinguished lecturer will be Dr. George Kondraske, professor at UT Arlington. The event is open to all UTHSCSA faculty, staff, and students.

WE STILL NEED JUDGES! If you are a postdoc or faculty professor, we need you to help judge posters! If you are available and willing to help out, please sign up here! If we get enough judges like last year, judges will only need to evaluate a handful of posters each.

The day will begin with registration and breakfast at 9:30 am, to be followed by a welcome and the morning poster session at 10:30 am. Oral presentations will be held in two sessions before and after lunch, with a second poster session beginning at 2:30 pm. Our keynote speaker will give his lecture at 3:30 pm in the GCCRI auditorium, after which awards will be announced. After the event, all attendees are welcome to stay for the wine and cheese social event. The full schedule of events is below.

2015 Mikiten schedule

On the day before the forum, all attendees and UTHSCSA students and staff are invited to come to the Mikiten Speed Networking Event to be held on Wednesday, June 10th, at Little Woodrow’s from 5:30 to 8 pm. All food is on the GSA! RSVP here!
